Installing software in windows 7

Post by Gerryk » Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:12 am

I am looking for someone who is familiar with windows 7 ultimate. I am trying to install a program and get a message that pops up saying windows needs to reboot. When I allow this the program starts back up then gives me the same pop up.

If you are familiar with win7 or more familiar with it than I am please send me a pm.

Gerry

Did your computer come with W7, or did you upgrade?

I upgraded my laptop, and there were several annoying "glitches" afterwards. Had my son (an IT guy ) look at it, and he said I had to completely re-install W7 to correct them. It took me 6 hours for the first install, so I was going to wait until I had the time to do it all over again. For a few days my laptop was running REALLY slow, then all of a sudden it was was running fine, and all the "gliches" were gone.
Try waiting a couple of days, then try to install the program again. I don't know if it'll work for you, but it did for me.
