Mask Size correlations

Post by scrapper » Sat Dec 19, 2009 10:04 am

To those of you who own several masks: Do you see any correlation between the sizes of various brands? For example if you own a medium ResMed nasal mask, do you also successfully wear a medium full face mask or are the sizes completely different? If the sizes are relatively the same for you in ResMed, do you find the same in other brands?

I'm just trying to learn from your expertise........I know that I can go into the DME and try on masks again or order online and initally save some funds...only to lose in the long run........but time and money are precious

Good Morning,
In my quest "De' Lure De' Mask" I have found no correlation in mask sizes. There are however sizing templates, they can be found at CPAP.com and on the manufacturers web sites. These can be helpful but not foolproof. Even in my best efforts to size a mask correctly, It all comes down to how it preforms when I sleep comfort, fit and leaks. Best of luck in your quest of De' Lure De' Mask.
