Ear Noise

Post by ellijacket » Sat Oct 01, 2005 6:10 pm

I have been using CPAP for 10 days (except last night). Within the last few days I have developed a pretty constant ringing in my ears and a low roar when it is quiet in the house.

I've read the postings and most opinions were that CPAP doesn't cause this but that I had it already and just noticed. Seems to coincidental to me.

Any thoughts?

Is it from the CPAP you think? Has it caused hearing loss?

I just can't see xPAP causing any hearing problems but I can accept xPAP my highlight or expose them.

Tinnitus for example, can appear to change in sound and volume if those with it change their environment daily environment.

xPAP does change our alertness levels, that may be a factor here.

Get you ears checked...you may have another condition (tinitus, meniers, etc..) that is just being agrivated by the pressure from the cpap.
