Don't know what you've got until it's gone....

Post by sleepyred » Tue Dec 01, 2009 6:04 pm

Whew - I have been using Bret's (pur-sleep) http://www.pur-sleep.com/ Regenesis™ Pillow for a few months now. I took it on vacation and LEFT it at the hotel where we were staying! To make a long story short - that was back in October! I called the hotel the night we got home, they found my pillow and it went through the maze of getting it back to me (re - sitting on someone's desk until it could be hand delivered to the UPS store, etc.)

Well, it came back today! Not having this pillow has disrupted my sleep! Just wanted to say "thank you, Bret" for a wonderful product! I've washed the pillow cases, re-stuffed it with my hulls and will be back to my ever-so-peaceful-slumber tonight!

I really did not know how much I would miss a pillow..........but I sure did!

...or running water!
Yes, one's pillow is just as important as one's cpap equipment!
We had a different experience today - ('don't know what you've got until it's gone'...) Woke up early this morning and went to the kitchen to make some coffee just to discover that there is no running water! The day felt so long without water but luckily they fixed the burst pipe by 4pm. I washed up the dishes with a smile (can you believe it?)

Sleepyred - So you really like it that much? I am looking for a pillow to use but have hesitated with the regenesis because of a previous bad experience with a buckwheat pillow (pre-cpap). Why do you think it works so well?

This pillow rocks. It's pricey but worth it IMHO. I've slept SO soundly lately and have had zero apnea events. Your mileage may vary of course, but I love it.

Here's a review I wrote recently about it: viewtopic/t46985/Review-of-Regenesis-Pi ... epcom.html

This is my 1st experience with a buckwheat pillow. I just love how it "molds" to my head - whether I'm on my back or turn to my side.
Would you mind sharing your previous experience with a buckwheat pillow?

I can't think of a better endorsement than that! I literally pack mine wherever I travel--it gets packed first.... And I don't have to worry about leaving one accidentally because I have an "in" with the people that make it...LOL

Thanks for all of the feedback everybody!
