OFF TOPIC: Need your help!

Post by alpha1340 » Mon Nov 16, 2009 11:44 pm

Don't know if this is a no no.... but I am gonna try!

One of my best friends daughters was born with HLHS(Basically half a heart), her chances were not good, but she proved the doctors wrong. She is now 5 years old, she just got back from a Make a Wish trip to Disneyworld. She has a chance to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade but needs our vote.

You can vote from any browser and it counts from each one, for example I vote from Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox, so she gets 3 votes from me a day. There is no registration you just click on the link and hit vote and your done. AGAIN THERE IS NO REGISTRATION AND NO SPAM. Please help her out right now she is in 33rd place. First place gets to go, so please help out.

The office is voting! Thanks for letting us know about Mary. She is a doll!

What a doll baby! I will get my office and my friends office to vote too, and my kids, and their friends, and, and.....we will get her to the parade!

I voted for Mary. She is a darling little girl. I hope my vote counted. I entered my phone number with the area code. I got a message back that I had entered an incorrect ph number. I just entered my 7 digit phone number. Again got the message, it was an incorrect phone number. Has anyone else had this happen. I will vote again tomorrow.

In the phone number field, you must enter your number- including area code, without dashes.
That's how I got it to work. I voted.

Seems more difficult from outside the US. I had to play around with the phone # and area code until I found a combination it'd accept. Screen seemed to freeze, but when I went 'back' it advised 'already voted', so presume it worked.

Anyone else finds out how to vote outside US, then I'm happy to send this around work.

Good luck, appears she's down (up?) to #19!!!
