Saw this on TV in the restaurant where I was having lunch today and just looked a the web site....

Basically no mask or straps..... yes I am tempted but what looks too good to be true... well you know....

I was hoping someone here had tried this and could give a report.

As a mouth breather, count me out.

Seriously, this product costs the same as the not so cheap FF masks. So the only reason to buy it would be for comfort. But somehow it doesn't "look" too comfortable.

That is what I am trying to figure out......

I have gotten the red bumps ( that sometimes itch) and can't get rid of them. They are in much better control now, I have the some felt covers that Karen makes and they are stopping any new ones and keeping the old ones way down. Almost gone on the left temple.

But if I could go without a mask for awhile that might help me get rid of them completely but I sure don't want to waste that much money on something that won't work or be uncomfortable.....

Not sure I follow where red marks are. Have you considered a FF mask, to give your nose a break? Oh, and I just saw you're from Pittsburgh. My wife and daughter are driving back from there now. (Daughter visiting Art Institute of Pittsburgh on Bld of the Allies).

I tried one of these a few years ago when I was first starting out and was desperate to find a mask that would work for me. Piece of junk. The boil-and-bite mouth piece was a pain to set up and then it didn't really clamp onto my teeth well. The only way I could keep the device stable was to bite down really hard. If I slackened the jaw pressure at all it would tip forward and come loose. It forced my mouth to open and the drool factor was ridiculous. Big waste of money but at least it did put me on the track of using nasal pillows instead of a full mask.

I think I'd rather deal with the straps across my face than the thing clinging to my teeth, and other than that it's no different from my OptiLife or any other pillows mask that tracks down your chest rather than over your head.

I really believe it's one of the best 'Masks?' on the market. Extremely comfortable, very low leak rates, very very adjustable. Easy to maintain, but you have to realize that parts must be replaced periodically due to normal wear and tear. The parts aren't inexpensive, though folks think the material is cheap. I beg to differ...

My opinion, you have to use it at a particular time in your therapy when your thinking clearly. With a clear mind and little fatigue, it's a very powerful asset to your CPAP therapy.

I wouldn't recommend it to someone who hasn't reached long term consistent CPAP Recovery. Could be why they call it 'Pro'. You have to be one!!

Yep GL, I know what your saying... Took me a try or two before getting the 'boil and bite' correct. Believe me, it's possible and it holds quite well.

Thanks Wulfman, I didn't know the Host carried it and in fact their is a Dental Kit to get the 'Boil and Bite' right. News to me!! My Dentist offered to do the 'Boil and Bite' but I managed on my own.


My Sleep Doctor prescribed it to four Patients, myself included, and last Doctor's visit, I was the only one still using it. One in four, sounds about right..

For my money, I get the same effect with the Nasal Aire II and a chinstrap. No biting down, no boiling, no fitting, no drooling. Less mask touching my face, no strap hassles, far more stable than any other mask I've tried.

Yeah, check your leak flow diagram on my Pressure Settings

CPap Pro Avg. Leak is 22? No pressure points, comfortable, toss and turn.

Hmm, maybe CPAP PRO isn't a piece of crap after all
