Thanks for coming back to share the good news with us, Ron!

Congratulations!!

As the others have said, for some people weight loss won't get rid of apnea for them -- or at most will just let them use lower pressure, which can make the therapy easier.

But for some lucky ones, enough weight loss can be a cure, as it has been for you, Ron.

You did a smart thing having a sleep study done to find out how you breathe while you sleep nowadays. WTG!!

Just a quick update....
A few days after going for my sleep study, I received a call from the sleep center saying they lost all of the O2 and cardio data in the computer. So last Wednesday I was back at the sleep center again to do what I had done 8 times before. I have an appointment with the doctor on Thursday to go over the results. It appears that the conclusion will be the same. I was left to sleep through the night without having to go back onto xPAP. It looks like I am indeed, apnea free.
