I just received this today and have been playing with it. First of all, it came with the H4i humidifier, but when I attach the humidifier and turn on the CPAP, the menu shows this as the H3i humidifier and doesn't give me an option to change it. Why does it do this, and does this matter?
Something that seems really odd to me about this machine which I didn't have with my old CPAP: breathing in is fine, but when I breathe out, there is a "pop" of increased momentary pressure. It's like the machine is trying to rapidly adjust the pressure to compensate for something. I have the Activa mask, and it actually puffs out instantaneously when I breathe out, and there is an audible "pop". This is mitigated if I try to relax my breathing and have a more gentle transition from breathing in to breathing out, but it is still noticeable. I tried playing around the the EPR settings to see if that would help, but it seemed to have no effect.
Thanks for any thoughts on these two issues.
New S8 Autoset II - a couple questions
Re: New S8 Autoset II - a couple questions
The xPAP was programmed before the 4i humidifers came out, so they say "3i" regardless of which humidifier is actually used (not an issue). I'm clueless about the other question.

Do you have the EPR on?
