NEW CPAP NIGHTSTANDS

Post by jbanks » Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:59 pm

I RECENTLY RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM SOMEONE THAT SAID MY NIGHTSTANDS WERE TOO PRICY. THEY SAID THEY THE BUILT A CATHOUSE FOR $60.00. I WOULD LIKE THEM TO POST A PICTURE OF THEIR CATHOUSE. MY NIGHTSTANDS ARE BUILT TO COMPLIMENT THE BEDROOMS OF MILLION DOLLAR HOMES. CHECK IT OUT. GO TO YAHOO AND SEARCH FOR
http://www.cpaphideaway.com. THIS IS QUALITY HARDWOOD FURNITURE BUILT BY PROFESSIONAL CABINET MAKERS.

This should be the picture of the Cat House. It's pretty good quality.

Greetings jbanks,

I think your cpaphideaway is a very attractive piece of furniture and I am certainly happy they are made to compliment furniture in a million dollar home. Wonder how many people in million dollars home are on cpap? Bet they take some kind of designer drug which cures them of OSA.

Unfortunately I don't, no, fortunately I don't live in a million dollar home and the nine dollar pine tv tray, from WalMart suits me just fine for my cpap and is a real compliment to my plastic storage case chest of drawers. I even cut the legs off so it would be below mattress top level.

I really like the jbanks night stands as well. Awesome idea.

Unfortunately, they are well out of my budget range. Would love to have a set eventually though!

jbanks, you should have a contest give-away sometime to drum up some extra attention and to give some of us a chance to experience the fine craftsmanship first hand.

One thing I wonder is: do you get any weird wood stain smells blowing through your machine due to the finish?

elg-
your cats are BEAUTIFUL! I started on the photo of the cat house and kept clicking through them all. Are you a breeder? Just curious, I don't need any more cats. My favorite is the one of all the cats laid out on the floor with the catnip.

thanks for the link kiralynx- I so enjoy kitty pics.

jbanks- the cpap nightstand is a great idea. No doubt they are very well made and worth the price you charge. My budget doesn't allow me to spend that much on a nightstand, so for me they'd be pricey too-- not because they aren't worth it, but because they out of reach for me. The market sets the price... are people buying them?

I agree with the advice on the other thread, be careful with the tone you use as you market your product to a huge group of potential buyers. If you tick people off, it won't matter how wonderful your product is.

HILARIOUS!!!! Laughed so hard I started a coughing fit and nearly wet my pants. I can absolutely picture it. I think I fall somewhere between that description (be it fact or fiction) and the "million dollar homes".

Thanks to all for 2 very entertaining threads.

I'm glad you enjoyed the kats, they are my babies!!!! I attempted to be a breeder and failed to the max. KoKo my sealpoint Himalayan was breed with intend to give my niece a Himmie and then sale the remainder........well, she tired during birth, I had to assist....we moved into a new house soon after the kittens were born, KoKo became distressed and put them in bed with me, I slept with kittens for a week, later she developed mastitis, I had to feed them for a few days.....then they kept getting cute, funny and sweet........when someone would asked me the price I would charge, I found myself pricing excessively......I became KatMom to 5 Himalyans....Sunshine, Sami, Blue Angel, Shadow and KoKo. Sami and Blue Angel are still with me and are 17.5 years of age. So, had I been a breeder, I would have all the Kats!!!!!

Blakepro, you have an excellent suggestion......... Hey, Jbanks, why not place a set of the nightstands on Cpap Auction with no reserves to allow xPAP users an opportunity possibly purchase, use and give a review.

Nice cat house....I'm gonna have to work on my standard of living. If it weren't for pine and plastic all my stuff would be on the floor. If I were into cats and I really like that Hemi, bet they roar like a mopar, I'd want one of them, but it doesn't look like they do plastic well.

elg, enjoy them while you can.

Blessings,

Fred

Forgot to apologize to polkadots. Hope you didn't hurt yourself. At least I didn't offend anyone, I don't think.

Now if you want to talk about chainsaws, now that's something I know a little about and I have some that are beauts, got one that even makes my plastic look. Maybe that's what I can display on top of dresser.

Fred, the big Kat House was a good deal for a Katmas celebration....and very green in today's terms.......total cost less $100......My cats LOVE plastic!!!! They have lots of plastic opportunities, if you go through the album, one of Shadow's lifelong sleeping place was a big plastic fruit bowl..........a real Big Lots bargin of 50 cents!!!! Cats really don't care if they have expensive things or not, what they really like is a warm bed to sleep in and an open window of sunshine!!!! Of course, ultimately they do like it when there is a refrig magnet that says: My cats let me live here, or the cats and their staff live here!!!!!

I do enjoy my KatKids.........we're on borrowed time right now at 17.5 but I keep bargaring for another year or two!!!! Thanks for your post!!!!!

viewtopic/p416107/Nightstand-for-my-CPAP.html If you wish to see them pictures are posted at this link in another thread. They are rather attractive but not at the prices shown. I would prefer a nice antique anyway. Modern stuff doesn't do much for me.

Somebody - no, it was not me - must have hit the spam button on those posts -- probably in response to Mr. Banks's crass spamming on the "apnea claims another life" thread.

I'm quoting rooster, and deleting anything that may help the spammer get the message across.
While I did not consider the first message that bad a case of spam, I too felt like treating all the messages as such when I saw his text in the thread "apnea claims another life":

Coming in here spamming and SHOUTING at us is not a very intelligent way to promote your product line. This is also a very poor choice of thread to be spamming in.

Your nightstand will not help when the power is out.
If it were up to me, I would treat him as any other spammer and not reinstitute his messages - but that's up to the forum moderators to decide.

By the way, I have a screenshot of that fake condolence message -- no need or use in denying it, mr banks.

I did delete one of his spams but it wasn't here. It was in another thread where he had only quoted someone's text and then added only a one line link to his website. Typical spammer link. I also responded to another of his spam in another thread with my "give it a rest, you have crossed the line...." (In Spirit's recent thread) after I had seen the spam in SleepGuy's thread but I let Rooster address that one. Seems like someone has deleted all those spams. I only did the one which had no text from him. Only had the link. I happened to catch it right after he posted it...

I am with Ozij here. Treat him like any other spammer now. He showed his true colors.
