I've just completed two weeks on cpap. The nose is no longer sore and finding the swift comfortable. Todays the first day i've actually not felt worse than before i started so i think things may be going well. Still a bit dehydrated but leg cramps not so bad, prob a bit self inflicted got to admit i like a bit of the drink a bit too much. Only thing is i'm sleeping a ridiculous amount 10-11 hours a night don't know if thats normal or what. But just thought i'd let all of ya who,ve been really helpful know that things seem to be improving

Sounds like you have some sleep debt. You will most likely continue to do so for a while longer and then notice that your time of sleep will move closer to 8 hours.
Also, what does your software say about your therapy?

Guest,
Would luv to know, the software is on order but prob going to send the card to the sleep centre tomorrow. To me one of the most frustrating things about a sleep problem is not knowing what the hell is going on yourself. Doubt most of us would even know we snored unless someone else told us
