We got a little Halloween treat these past two days.
Work is shut down.
Had a little work to do at home.

We have 21" and it's still coming down.
Just a light wind with it....so Mother Nature's sculpture abounds.

Nothing like a bunch of snow to get a pup excited.

Wow! What area are you in? My father-in-law in Nebraska is getting socked in pretty good too. Nice house! Love the shots of the puppy.
Sleep well and live better!

Love the pictures of the pup -- nothing like a dog playing in the snow! I wish I could have taken a snow day. I live in the Lonetree area and we had a lot of snow. Had to drive to DTC too early this morning to get some work done. I think it's going to be a long, slippery drive home! I'm jealous of your snow days! Have fun for all of us!

Nanner, nanner........we only got about one inch up here night before last.
I've been looking at the WYDOT web cameras and they're getting hammered in the southeastern corner of the state, too. Lots of things are shut down.

It was 87 here yesterday. Some sort of record, I heard. And it's a humid heat...
But I DO like pics of snow. Reminds me why I moved to FL!!! Thanks.

Well at least you are lucky enough to own a snow blower. I used to live on Cape Cod, MA and used to hate getting up at 4am to shovel out the drive way.
I'll take my Arizona climate, Just a two hour drive up north to Flagstaff if i want snow.

Snow is a four lettered word! I hate snow but I guess I can be glad I don't live where you live.....

ok I am flying home tomorrow so keep that stuff south of the border please!!
We had a few flakes here in Edmonton this week while I was burying the foundation again - it's a bitch shoveling dirt while the snow flies.

Love the pics! Snow...thanks goodness WE don't get snow...well, once in a very rare while. I hate being cold; we get ice here when the conditions are just right...miserable stuff. Atlanta's hilly so slip sliding makes driving impossible. We can't even get out of the driveway!

Ag Carbonman - your snow pics are lovely !
That's a lot of snow !?!
What we've got in big parts of South Africa
are terrible droughts - last time it was so dry
was 132 yrs ago!
We have water restrictions and are not
allowed to use a hose to water the garden,
wash cars, fill swimming pools, etc.
Summer and the holiday season is around the
corner and dams are drying up. (Send us some
snow !)

Signs that you live in Colorado:
- You carry your $3,000 mountain bike atop your $500 car.
- A pass does not involve a football or dating.
- The top of your head is bald, but you still have a pony tail.
- You tell your husband to pick up Granola on his way home and so he stops at the day care center.

Love the pics. The first time I saw snow was when I was 6 (1959) years old. In East Orlando my mom was running around the yard saying see the snow, look, look!
I had only seen snow in drifts in picture books so I thought she was crazy. I think I only saw one flake, and then I didn't think it looked right - no piles to jump in or make a snowman
What does a Florida gal know??
I love your garden too, poor thing My husband works at Kennedy Space Center and we were in California for a time , he was fiddling with the Shuttle, and we would go to the high dessert when it snowed and we took our great dane, Turk. Boy did he have fun Let me tell you i did not have to walk back up the hill to get on the plastic garbage bag as he would pull me up. A dog in the snow is the best kind of fun! Those were the days

That was the biggest snow I've seen since I've lived in Colorado! In fact, it was bigger than any I'd seen in Michigan (where I used to live) in many years.
I got laid off last week and was actually glad I didn't have to try to drive to work. But on the other hand, I didn't go anywhere and got a little stir-crazy. In the days before CPAP I would have taken that time to nap/sleep the day away. Now I can't nap because I'm not sleepy until bedtime.
Still hoping to see one of the 3-4 ft. snowfalls I've heard about.
