swollen nose

swollen nose

Swollen nose? I just tried a new mask last night.....It fits perfect and has very little if any leaking goin on......However when I took it off i noticed a white patch on the bridge of my nose.......I wiped my nose with antiseptic and put neosporin on it.....It now has swollen almost my entire nose........Any suggestions?

My suggestion: For now, don't use the new mask. Give your nose a chance to recover. When you go back to the mask and try again, make minor adjustments to the headgear (loosen it a bit) and/or use moleskin on the mask where it's irritating your skin. Good luck.

soak new mask and headgear in warm water with mild detergent then rinse, wear mask higher up on face, adjust angle of part that presses against forehead if you can
australian,anxiety and insomnia, a CPAP user since 1995, self diagnosed after years of fatigue, 2 cheap CPAPs and respironics comfortgell nose only mask. not one of my many doctors ever asked me if I snored
