Slanted,Sleeping Pillow for Back Sleepers?Type?

Post by beneyw » Thu Oct 29, 2009 4:26 am

I have tried so many different kinds of sleeping pillows with not much luck. Since I am a back sleeper and with mild GERD I like to prop my pillows up so I sleep on a 'slant.' There must be a pillow out there designed for that and more importantly one that works. Doubling regular pillows does not work well so if anyone knows of a particular brand that works for them as they sleep on their back I sure would like to learn of one.

One thing you can do is raise the head of the bed by putting bricks under the legs of the headboard. If you share your bed you might prefer to get a wedge. It won't slip around all over the place like regular pillows that are stacked.

This is one example. They do come in different heights. This way you could still use a regular pillow under your head if you like.
