My dog

Post by Pudd » Fri Oct 23, 2009 9:43 am

My dog sure does not like my mask. She growls like crazy when I have it on. Even more when my wife is in bed with me. When I take it off the dog is fine but as soon as I put it back on, she is really upset. my sollution I think is to wear it around the house during the day. What do you all think?

Play with your dog with the mask nearby, but not playing with the mask. gradually progress to having mask on while playing with dog and giving treats........this will socialized dog to mask by postive reinforcement.

My cat is the same way, well it doesn't growl, but won't come near me with my mask on.

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

My cats won't come near me when I have my mask on either and they are not in the least curious about any of the equipment.

I'm glad about that! I love my cats but it could be costly if they played with my cpap equipment or disliked it enough to destroy any of it!
