My nasal mask is better than the full face mask I had, but boy does it get annoying! It aggravates my nose where my upper lip and nose connect on the center cartilage and makes it sore.
Also, my setting is 14 so it blows pretty strongly into my nostrils! I don't thinkI could snore if I wanted too! It is a trial, but I continue to push myself to use the cpap. I might rest better in the sense of feeling free without it, but the "rest" I get would only be shallow. Even when I'm awake during the day, I find that I do not breathe deeply at all. I'm a very shallow breather. So the cpap is for the best. I can't help but wonder about a nasal pillow as to whether it would be any better. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Re: Heavens To Betsy!
For that spot between your nose and lip-
try a bit of Weleda zinc oxide cream. It has no petrochemicals, so won't degrade the mask material. And it will help protect the skin.
If the mask is pressing on that area, try loosening the mask.
