In the Event section the Apneas are shown with a red bar with a number on top. What does this number represent? My numbers are ranging from 10 to 15. Is this good, average or bad?
AI usually less than 1 and HI from 6 to 10. Will increasing the pressure lower the HI's?
Thanks for you help!!

ResScan Detailed Graph Question
Re: ResScan Detailed Graph Question

Re: ResScan Detailed Graph Question
Yes. 10 is the minimum length for an interruption to be considered an apnea.OsoPardo wrote:In the Event section the Apneas are shown with a red bar with a number on top. What does this number represent? My numbers are ranging from 10 to 15. Is this good, average or bad?
Possibly, but not definitely. The machine has now way of telling if the hypopneas are obstructive --> capable of being resolved by addtional pressure, of just a registration of tossing an turning, sighs and the like which can be safely ignored.AI usually less than 1 and HI from 6 to 10. Only the way you feel -- and testing with highter pressure - can tell.
Thanks for you help!!
