Combined Oxi and Resmed Graphs inHere

Post by Liddelbrook » Tue Oct 06, 2009 9:03 pm

Finally know how to get my Resmed Data out of the thing.

I resized my pulse oxi data with photoshop and combined them with the resmed graphs.

The graphs are about 1700 pix wide, so I didn't posted them in line, but as a link instead. They are small sized png's, byte wise spoken.

In the Resmed graphs I see a load of scary red entries, how can I get rid of them???

You really are having a lot of apneas..........makes sense you are scared......interesting that your 02 desats have improved and you are having so many apnea events. I really wish there was a way for you to see a MD who has expertise in sleep issues and breathing. What did your pressures range last night? You might want to read some of the posts on Central Apneas too!!!!

Doesn't the pressure range show in the graphs? about 5-18 in the 5-6 okt one and 10-20 in the 6-7 okt one.

Central Apneas? Hmmm I always thought I was just a heavy snorer

Your graphs show leaks, especially days 6-7. You first need to get the leaks under control.

Yes, night 6-7 show more leaks as the night before, probably because I also used a chinstrap. (And the mask came of for some reason too)

No doubt that without the chinstrap leaks will be on the same level as the night before.

But afaik they are below the "red line", so its still within tolerance, isn't it?

And if I really really relax my mouth, let it fall open totally in the Mask, things feel weird. With the chinstrap this doesn't happen, while I can still open my mouth a bit.

In order to get the full effect of your therapy, you must control your leaks.
Leaks are only controlled at a flat leak line of zero. Keeping leaks under the red line on the graph is not what you should be doing.

For more info, please check the archives for discussions about mouth leaks.

Once you control the leaks, assuming you are at the correct pressure setting, the number of apneas should improve.
