My S8 AutoSet II shows the mask type as "Ultra" but I've got a Mirage Quatro.
How do I change the mask type?
Thanks.
Peter.
Change mask setting on a ResmedS8 AutoSet II
Re: Change mask setting on a ResmedS8 AutoSet II
Check both your AutoSet II's Users Manual and the literature that came w/the Quattro for which Mask Selection should be used. It MAY be that the Quattro and Ultra require the same Mask Selection. My VPAP Auto's Users Manual has a list of Resmed masks and the proper Mask Selection so I would assume the S8 II User Manuals also have that info.

Re: Change mask setting on a ResmedS8 AutoSet II
Hi Peter,
I also have the S8 Autoset II and have the Quattro mask, the settting MIRFULL setting should be used, it stands for the Ultra Mirage full-face mask which is similar to the Quattro mask. The S8 Autoset II will give you the correct flow readings on your machine, STD (standard) is used for other mask manufacturers than the Resmed masks. (ex.Respironics)
You don't have to change the setting, it is correct for your Quattro mask.

Re: Change mask setting on a ResmedS8 AutoSet II
Thanks Cycloman2005, I did manage to track down the compatibility list.
I guess I didn't word my question to well.
I've found the menu item that displays the mask type set, but I can't change the setting.
I assume this is one of the settings "locked down" by the clinician. How do I change these settings, should I need to?
Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

Hi, PeterC.
Hold down the right and down buttons for several seconds. This will give you the Clinicians menu. Go to settings and scroll down to mask type, then you can choose "Change."
