The graph below is from last night. My machine is set in auto mode from 10 to 13.
The peak pressure occurs just before the 24 second apnea event (4th from the left). As you can see, the pressure declined from there, yet the event activity continued. It does not appear to me like the machine is properly trying to suppress further events. I say this because my understanding is that it will try to increase pressure, if it can, to prevent further events, and it clearly has room to increase the pressure. Is my understanding wrong or is this machine not working correctly? In any case, it is not helping me feel better right now!

Your thinking is right in terms of the machine being designed to get rid of events, but if you have major leaks, for instance, you will have events that the machine cannot necessarily catch up with. How do your leak rates look?

You might want to expand your viewing time frame in ResScan......it may be the the events are not as clustered as they appear. Also, if this is reoccuring, do you need to visit adjustment of the lower end of the pressure upwards or trying CPAP mode?

Good point. My leak rate was 0.00 throughout the whole night, and is very near zero most nights as well, so that wasn't in play.

Hmm.....had not considered that. Are you thinking that the machine really can't respond over the range I've selected?
