There are two sockets at the back of the Vpap III
1 = the Reslink module connector & is similar to a VGA computer screen socket.
2 = a serial port. Obtain a null modem cable (9-pin female to 9-pin female)
PM me re how to read the data from the serial port.

(this is pretty straight forward but you do need a PC or laptop that has a 9-pin serial port & that runs Windows 2000 or Windows XP
You can use a Serial to USB converting cable if your PC doesn't have a 9-pin serial port. It looks like this --

Ozij,
Good suggestion - not one I have tried but may give it a go to see if the serial port runs ok. I vaguely recall
(going back here about 2.5 years) there being some issues with configuring the USB port to run at the right
speeds - I think I may have a USB to serial converter.
Cheers

My PB420E's serial port works at 9600, and I had no problems using a converter - on my older laptop with a USB 1.1 port. Do you expect problems with a USB 2.0?
O.

i am running Parallels on a Mac Airbook. I also use Vista and have no problems with it. I run Vista with Parallels on the Mac. I also have 2 desktops running Vista and a Dell laptop running Vista.
