Who needs the pillows and rubber band? Here's my plan:
1. Insert hose into mouth.
2. Tape hose in place around mouth.
3. Inhale through mouth, exhale through nose.

Now WHY didn't "I" think of that. Brilliant!!!

You might have to use the clothespin method to moderate nose-leak.

What I already don't like by looking at it is that the hose looks like it only points down. I need to swivel!!!!

Does that dance involve a swivel? I've apparently been doing it wrong, then. Never mind.

With the mask on? You sound like my hubby. I'm no spinner!!! Although the husband thinks the mouth breathing could be a benefit.

Looks pretty cheezy to me. And all of you know that I would be pretty hard to convince that ResMed will produce any more nasal pillows that will last longer than a few days or a couple of weeks....as in their performance documented with the Swift LT. But I have to say that it looks pretty clear to me that this hose swivels just like an Opus would.
Ugh. Amazing to me that ResMed would not correct the problem with the Swift LT, which was a winner until they decided to go cheap and flimsy.
DeVilbiss IntelliPap Std Plus with Smartflex; Transcend miniCPAP & Everest2 w/humidifier & batt for travel. UltraMirage FFM; PadACheeks; PaPillow. Using straight CPAP at 13.0/passover humidifier. AHI consistently < 1.5. Began CPAP 9/4/08.

I've been using the same nasal pillows, the originals, on my LT for nearly 10 months. Still 0.0 leak. I was afraid to order new ones, anyway, from what I had read.
Brick-and-mortar DMEs must really hate it when nothing wears out on a mask. I bet if they had their way, nasal pillows would be made out of paper.
Yeah, it does look like it might swivel. If you're gonna steal someone's design, you might as well do it right.

Yup, I have a bag of 8 of them that are totally crap. And these were ResMed's very well publicized "improved" replacements to me for the same useless ones I returned to them. (If you were absent for several months, see
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=41729&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=Swift+LT) These nasal pillows simply collapse and leak with the loosest strap adjustment possible. Any tighter, and it's a totally lost cause as well. Want one?

Them there are panty hose straps, not rubber bands!!! And note that elegant camo green!
The mask is the beloved Headrest, pictures courtesy of Catnapper (deconstructed mask) and Linda3032 (profile with military style panty hose...)

I wonder if someone is working on a "wireless" connection between mask and machine.
Anyone for WiPap?

yeah, but got my hands on one and have been using for 2 weeks. the mask has changed my life, finally a mask I can barely feel or hear. I didn't like the LT due to the material, but the material on the headgear is amazing and cool!
