Respironics Auto M-Series and power inverter?

Post by nomoore » Sat Sep 05, 2009 10:44 am

I have a Respironics M-Series Auto w/ heated himidifier. The humidifier is the one that runs off of AC power, not the newer DC one. Does someone know if I can run the CPAP with the heated humidifier from a modified sine wave inverter? I know the Resmeds require pure sine wave but I can't find info on the Respironics equipment.

Hi nomore: I have a power inverter in my 5th. wheel. It's a Kawasaki 1500 I ran mine (Resp. Auto M) off it all summer. I had a Whistler 1000 before that, and used it also. I use four 6 volt golf cart batteries for power. Hope this will help you. Sleepy Boy..
