Keeping mask on all night.

Post by falcon » Thu Sep 03, 2009 9:47 am

Hi. I have been using a cpap for around 3 months. I fall asleep with it on, but when I wake up I find that I have taken it off sometime during the night. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to solve this problem.

Thanks.

Socks on hands to make it difficult to remove the mask.
Tape the mask to the face so that when you remove it the discomfort of the tape pulling will wake you up.

Otherwise do some serious detective work as to why you are wanting to remove the mask? Pain? How long before you remove it? Do you remove it every night? What pressure do you use? What mask do you use?

Fill out your user account profile's equipment page so that the members can see what you are using and maybe advise you more specifically.
