Looking for an oximeter suggestion?

Post by jnmv1969 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 10:26 am

Hello All -

I am planning on purchasing an oximeter. Can someone recommend one that they like? I'm a bit overwhelmed with all of the different choices when I do a search on the internet, so I am hoping someone can suggest one they are happy with. I know it's going to feel like I am wearing a clothes-pin on my finger at night, but hey, it's just one more thing to wear along with a cpap.

Thanks,
JV

You can't go wrong with.....

Good machine, good software, nice people, Turner is safe to do business with.

Plus...the "finger cup" is far better than a &#!*&@# "clothespin.....

The CMS-50E is a cheaper alternative. The instructions are in badly translated from chinese but it works for me. But i only use it once a month.

Be sure to buy the Australian one and then select Australian currency in Paypal. Comes to around $170 US after shipping vs. $249 plus shipping for the US version.

Of course you will need to be able to read Australian...

I really wish they made sleep apnea related software for Mac computers.

Everything seems to require a Windows computer. I might have to find a cheapie laptop. I know it's important and it'll be worth it, but GRRRR.

Just use a virtual machine like Parallels on the mac to run any flavor of windows you like.
