So what is really the difference between the two masks???
I have the Swift II and haven't any problems other than some red ithy bumps where the mask rubs on my temples and now and then on my cheeks..... but I can sleep and breathe fine so I put up with it...
I am wondering what the differences are and should I try an LT??
Any thoughts on the itchy bump part would be appreciated also....

Never used the Swift II but I believe it is the older version of the two.
For the itchy red places try putting some cloth barrier between the straps and your face. Padacheek makes some nice fleece wrap arounds. If you are handy you can fix something similar. If not Padacheek.com has some nice choices for most mask straps.

Re: Mirage Swift II and LT
From what I understand (forgive me, I'm new): The LT is designed more for side-sleepers, whereas the II is more for back sleepers.
Also, the pillow on the II is larger than that of the LT, and the LT's hose comes out the front and swivels, whereas the II's hose comes out the left side, and does not swivel as such.

Re: Mirage Swift II and LT
The Swift II was my first mask. I sleep on both my sides, and both sides of my face on my stomach. The Swift II only allows for sleeping on one side or the other. I used it for only two weeks, and I could not stand it anymore.
The LT is so great, the hose swivels on either side, so there is never a problem sleeping any way I want. 100% compliance since using the LT. No negative issues at all. LOVE IT!!!

Re: Mirage Swift II and LT
I used to use a face mask then I went to the swift II, I got a Swift LT when they sent me my new mask and head gear last time. I can't see any difference in an LT or a Swift II. I used to sleep on my right side. Now since I have been using Cpap/Bipap I sleep on my back. According to "She Who Must be Obeyed" I don't move all night after I go to sleep. Before I was moving all over the bed tossing turn moving my legs.

I tried on the II but there was no way I could use it. I only sleep on my sides and if I turned over with that one, I would have to move the hose from one side to the other. Not good for being able to get a good night of sleep.
Re: Mirage Swift II and LT
I started with the Swift II and learned to love it after a couple of weeks of getting used to it.
I then purchased the Swift LT and try as I might, just can't get a good seal. It a real shame because the headgear and the interface are more comfortable than the II. My slotted nares and the pillow design of the LT just don't seem to like each other.
