Yeah,
I will DEFINATELY be watching for an EOB (Explanation Of Benefits) to see what the Insurance will actually pay. I know it will be MUCH MUCH less. and if it's still outrageous, I will be calling the DME for just about everything. Make sure the "local care" the insurance is paying for is worth it.

My husband is the operations manager at Tower Medic Pharmacy over the dme potion of the company...You may want to check them out...I may be bias but when you order a piece of equipment it is there at your home within the same day or the next day....not too many companies are as prompt as Tower Medic is! Just a suggestion! Best of Luck

hello neighbor, i live in Benbrook. I haven't dealt with a DME yet, Walgreen's home health care loaned me a machine after my study last month? From what i've learned here this is unusual. I have a question for you, do you use a specialist or a family practice Dr. in Fort Worth? i have a feeling I'm going to need one. My thread is newbie with ????'s if you are interested in my ordeal!

I was referred to Medigy and they've been okay. I can't complain but I haven't really tested them either.

we also have a Baylor hospital in FW I use JPS which apparently has no pulmonology for apnea so I have to use the sleep lab/pulm dept at the UNT Health Science Center on the west side of downtown (5 min drive from FW hospital district)
