You really need to tell us more about the operating system on your computer.
At this point I am just going to guess that your are using Windows Vista and a "Mako DT3500" smart card reader. Is this correct?
If so, then try this link. It worked for me. (before following this procedure I was only able to download once through an individual USB prot before I had problems like you are describing.)
Follow this link--Should solve the problem. See the note from "5aces" viewtopic/t42728/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=39 ... 51#p349051
For speed sake here is 5aces directions:

Just in case,go to:
Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Services and Applications/Services/Smart Card (Scroll Down the Services List)
Smart Card (Right Click) should be set to 'Automatic' in the Properties (General) and then 'Started'.

Re: smart card reader
If it is the resmed reader and software just call the number on the package and get the guy to set it up from his end.

When you posted here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=43910&p=390256&hili ... sy#p390256 your advice was for Encore, which is made by Respironics, not ResMed.
ResMed usually won't talk to patients about software or readers.

That's right, I agree, let's get back to Judy which is exactly what I wanted to do in the first place. So let's not speak of this anymore. It is all about the OP and not a petty squabble.jdm2857 wrote:It's no big deal. I thought I had upset you.

Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy.
