You win!!! God knows that
I have about 100 more behind me that I KNOW of
really means something!
Stay angry R & R -it clearly works for you.
Buy a new hat, drink a good wine, treat yourself, and someone you love, to a new bauble, live while you are alive... you never know when the mid-town bus is going to have your name written across its front bumper!

Good Buddy, I am not angry, I have bigger issues to deal with. Though I have to admit, this has been wonderful as a way too let off steam. So Thanks, I needed it. I will throw and olive branch. Go back and read the comments just before I responded with my KMA. If you want to apologise to me for baiting me, I will apologize for hurting your feelings with my statement. Then let's move on. Fair enough?

I knew it! I was just telling a collegue the other day that I found a forum that was surprisingly free of rancor and the usual internet knee-jerk BS. He told me I was full of it. That dog doesn't exist. Give it time. Dig a little deeper. Heck, see if politics or religion makes a sneaky appearance--you'll see.
Oh well.
I moderate a forum that has about 150,000 rabid members... you can guess at the firestorms I've seen. The utter nonsense that goes on.
I was taken aback slightly by how this thread devolved. Still, it's a spring shower compared to what I'm used to.
Just an observation...and a lost bet. LOL

Go back and look since day one, we have always sparred and then become best of friends again. Waders comment on ANGER and then again, Wader and I had a good one back in the spring and now we PM each other.

Ok Ok I have two grown sons, a husband and a wired hunting dog...I do know about these matters and there's entirely too much testesterone flowing nonstop in this thread for me....How about if I pretend to be WillSucceed and apologize to R&R, and Lori pretends to be R&R and apologize to WillS. We will time it so that we post at the exact same moment so there is no oneupmanship and no sense that one won over the other.....Both will save face. Both will feel better and we can all sleep well tonight....What do you think Lori? Terry

Hey, I'm game. But I have a hunch, if we leave them alone, they'll just be friends again before we know it. Actually, I don't think they aren't friends now. Just a manly "discussion." What do you think?

I think you're right Lori...they're probably sharing a brew right now, scratching themselves and grunting that testesterone right off. Maybe if we put out some doilies, painted the walls pink and set out some tea sandwiches things would feel more civilized? Of course then there'd be that menopausal phenomena kicking in and they'd be taking cover from us. We can get pretty ugly when our hormones are out of balance, can't we? I feel a hot flash coming on as we speak....

Would you believe I am a tea drinker, in fact I write for a few magazines and have a small following. So, I am used to tea sandwiches. We have not had a brew, a little hard, he's in Canada and I am in Texas, but if he's game, I am.
And yes, I can react to my testoserone thankyou, LOL

A TEA DRINKER? In TEXAS?
Son, we gotta have a lil' talk. Word of that gets around and whooee!
I hope at least you drink a black tea (Yunnan perferably) very hot, sans sugar, and straight.
How do I know about Yunnan you ask?... well, I'm from Austin. 'nuff said.
LOL
What magazines do you write for? I've been known to write from time to time...sometimes they even pay me for my scribblings.

I afford myself one cup of tea a day, first thing in the morning, before I come upstairs to see what email I got. There are usually tons of it from this site, so I end up spending the first half-hour of the morning sipping and reading/replying, until 7 AM when it's time to wake up the daughter for school. But the best thing I ever did was to put CoffeeMate Hazelnut creamer in my tea. Not the International Delights-don't like any of those. I don't use sugar and that is the perfect compliment to the tea. Yes, it's loaded with fat. The one vice I allow my eating regimen per day. But I cannot live without it. Tea will never be the same again for me.
Tea is not a masculine or feminine drink. My husband only drinks tea. Never had a cup of coffee in his life, and he is the opposite of feminine. Loves the aroma, but won't even try it. Imagine that? Go figure...

Yes a tea drinker
I like a good coffee but tea is king for me. I do like a good Yunnan. But I am addicted to Barry's Gold for my breakfast tea. I then drink all kinds of tea, Yunnan, Keemun, Oolong, green, Pu-erh etc. I love them all, good ones that it, I hate Lipton and schlock teas. And yes, I drink my tea strong and black in the morning. LOL[/list]
