Just a thank you

Thanks to this forum and all the info. Had an idea I had apnea and ordered the sleep study with Kaiser and .....I was positive. I got to try a machine for 4 days and had the best naps I have had in twentyfive years, couldnt get through a whole night mainly because the test unit mask was too small. Surprisingly Kaiser doesnt cover my equipment I own my own business and pay a good chunk of change but this isnt a covered item oh well. So aside from the outlay of $$$ its cool by me as now I dont have to deal with Apria and I can get the gear of my choice.

Got the call today from Kaiser and they faxed my script to CPAP.com I placed my order and here it is two hours later I recieved my tracking info (way to go CPAP.com great service) I absolutely cant wait for it to arrive this Friday!!! I picked a Resmed Autoset II with humidifier and a Quattro FF mask (the right size large) My script called of a setting of 9cms/h2o which was my setting of choice when I tested the unit. Bottom line I received much of my education on this subject from this forum and so big kudos to CPAP.com and all you folks who post here its a great resource. Thanks all! Come on Friday!!!!!!!

Hello & Welcome, marklench & HomeBody! Glad you found this forum—SO much useful info and everyone here is so willing to help!

You're lucky to have found this forum as you begin CPAP--took me almost year before I found this place and, with the help of folks here, got my CPAP therapy working as it should. It does take time to get everything tweaked and working at its best, so patience is key as one begins CPAP.

A very big thank you to everyone on this forum. I was diagnosed and given the wrong equipment before I searched for help online and found this forum. I the answers to my questions, and questions answered that I had not thought of. I now have the right equipment for me, have fine tuned settings, mask, cleaning, use of lanolin on the mask, and the list goes on and on.
