Does the Hybrid Mask Hiss?

Post by Muse-Inc » Tue Jul 07, 2009 11:46 am

Wore a nasal mask 1 night in hospital (F&P?) and the durned thing hissed with every inhalation -- wearing pillows since beginning of CPAP therapy I've trained myself to wake up to that sound and close lips. That hiss woke me every time I managed to doze off . Hoping the Hybrid doesn't hiss. Thanks all!

I wear the Hybrid every night and the only time I have heard any kind of hiss is if I partially block the vent port... Then it kind of hisses til I move my face and clear the opening. This only happens sometimes if i snuggle down into the pillow or pull the blanket up too high...
I dont suffer from insanity.... I enjoy every minute of it!

No, the hybrid mask does not Hiss .
you can, like all masks, hear the air rush out if you spring a leak or something. just play with it a night or two and you'll love the darn thing.
