Woohoo! I've been here for 90 days!

Post by BleepingBeauty » Thu Jul 02, 2009 6:06 pm

All of a sudden, the "Report Spam" button has just appeared on all of the posts. (I know it takes 90 days before a newbie is bestowed the honor of being able to report a spam post. Either the rest of you do that job very well or there's very little spam posted here in the first place. I hardly ever see anything I would report, but it's nice to now have the ability.) I can't believe it's been 90 days already since I joined the forum. Time really does fly...

So I guess I've graduated.

Do I get a diploma? Where's my cap 'n gown? Anyone wanna sign my yearbook?

I'd sign your yearbook but I'm too busy trying to kill a little bug that's running around on my screen just above cassaro's username.

Thanks, guys and gal!

Can you imagine how big a real yearbook for this place would have to be? With 40,000+ members, I can't even picture it (pun intended).

jdm, there was a post not long ago by -SWS where he had several of those bugs in cassaro's avatar running in unison. It was like synchronized swimming (or a Busby Berkeley routine) for bugs. Mesmerizing.

BB,

Did you read the fine print when you joined this movement?

"After 90 days of intensive training, new members will join the other troops in a rotation of Whack-A-Troll. Warning: Whacking of a non troll, whether intentional or accidental, will result in immediate loss of whacker."

(Just kidding Johnnie.) Congrats on 90 days!

Kathy

Hi, Steve.

I'm doing okay. Dealing with a recent flareup of high AHI numbers, but it was going well for awhile there, so I'm hoping for a return to better nights very soon.

My Butterfly Bush is hangin' in there. I had one round of beautiful purple blooms, and it now seems to be in stand-by mode. But it's still very green and is still growing, so it's all good.

My little cactus on the patio has bloomed twice so far this season, when it looked like it was croaking a few months ago. Amazing what a little water can do in Aridzona. It's also amazing that a plant that looks so "mean" can produce such beauty.

Be sure to keep pruning off all the dead flowers on the Butterfly...it'll keep popping new flowers to as late as October ( rare but doable). Mostly to September. LOVE the nails!! I think they have a poka dot nail polish don't they? You don't even need a brush...just dip!!

Will do, thanks. I've got new buds on there now, actually. They're small, still, but I already know how fast this thing grows, so I'm sure it won't be long before I'm seeing lots of color again.

Thanks! This the only time of year that I paint my fingernails. Everyone thinks it takes all day, but it's a lot easier (and faster) than it looks - perhaps because I've done it so many times now. But don't tell anyone.
