It's the mask that (it seems) most DME's will use on new patients. That only means that Respironics reps are the best in the market. Personally, I have found that any mask with the word "Comfort" is not the best for me. I alternate between the ResMed Activa and the Aura mask, and I've tried over 9 different masks and nasal pillow units. Good luck with your decision. Georgia Hosehead

I don't have a decision to make, just wondering. Yes the respironics co. must be pretty aggressive.

I don't understand why you think Respironcs pushes their product? People buy & use what works. I use the Comfort Gel because it WORKS for me! Other brands cause horrible blisters on my nose & face. No one PUSHED the comfort gel on me. I tired on many masks & I CHOSE the comfort gel based on how it felt to me. Not everyone is a sheep as you seem to think.

I sa
I wasn't referring to you, or pushing products on people, I was referring to the fact that the sleep center and the various dme's around here mostly carry respironics machines exclusively. Respironic masks also given at sleep clinic. I like my comfort gel too. I asked the sleep center rep if the respironics people were just agressive marketers or if they actually preferred the remstar over the other machines and products for a reason.
