I was diagnosed with extremely high levels of LEAD & MERCURY.
It is my understanding that most of us who live in industrialized countries have toxic metals.
Does anyone know if there is a correlation between sleep apnea and toxic metals. I do know that they can cause neurological problems so it would make sense that there would be a connection.

VDOL, if you don't mind a prying question...how did you get the diagnosis of Mercury and Lead levels? Was this from a physician and an an accredited lab? Bloodwork?
IIRC, Mercury is difficult to determine (or at least it was back when I was in grad school.)

It was from a medical doctor who specializes in treating difficult cases. He is highly credentialed. The results came from a lab.

I would be very interested to know a) where you grew up (what kind of physical environment), b) what your adult environment is like (where you live), and c) what you've done for a living - e.g. have you worked in or around places that could be at least partly responsible for the diagnosis you received?
