Mask Help!

Post by beachgurl_1988 » Fri Jun 12, 2009 11:00 pm

I was using a Fisher & Pykel Flexifit 431 ( I think) full face mask. Only mask I have really ever used...The other night, I keep my cpap machine on a shelf above my bed, and it fell. It happened to hit me right in the middle of the forehead, and then hit the mask just right to break off the piece that rests on your forehead and also holds the headgear in 2 places.

So, my question is, can anyone suggest another mask for me? I like the idea of a full face mask, but the only thing I would love, is that I wear glasses for distance, so I end up using them all the time. It would be great to find a full face mask that would still allow me to wear my glasses, for TV watching/ reading etc. while I am falling asleep! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I would look at the hybrid FFM. Solves your glasses problem. I have one and I love it! Less parts to break, as well.

The Hans-Rudolph mask is nice, it's the same chin-cup style mask that you're used to with the F&P, and there's no forehead stabilizer to get in the way of your glasses. Only problem is (for me, anyhow) I can only get one online. The DME's around here are all stupid apparently because they've never heard of that brand when I ask about it.
