hybrid repair

Hi,

Has anybody tried to repair a Hybrid mask? The little knob on the side of the mask that holds the bottom strap has broken off. Anyone have any idea on how it can be fixed? Can it be hot glued back on? At the minute its held on by a stocking around the gonzo nose part of the mask.

I am not sure about being able to repair it, seeing as it is the weakest point of that mask, yet has the most pressure applied to it. You can check cpapauction.com or other cpap.com and look for just a replacement plastic mask part and continue to use your existing headgear, etc. Although, if you catch cpapauction.com on a good day, you can get a brand new hybrid, with all the cushions and nasal pillows, for $50USD. That's where I got mine from. Sorry I couldn't be of more help and best of luck to you.

how long have you had it? there may be a warrentee on the mask from breakage. it's worth a try. The innomed customer service is actually one of the best i've come accross for my medical stuff
