So it's another M series

Post by Elbysmom2004 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 6:02 pm

Well, I got another M series but it's the M pro. I don't know the difference between the machines but then again I've only been doing this for a month now. About a year ago I didn't even know what OSA was until I started to google my symptoms. About a month ago I thought all CPAP's were the same. Oh well, I guess as long as it works it's better than nothing!
Pressure set at 15
Ramp:20 min starts at 4.5.

From what I have read the Pro is a good machine. It is data capable and should provide you with good treatment.
Start Date: 8/30/2007 Pressure 9 - 15

The Pro is a step up in M Series machines. Sometime in the future, if you are able to get the software and reader, you can track your sleep situation and note events you may be having, on the Pro. That is not possible with the Plus.

I had to come back and edit this post after reading your other post about last night's event.

With the Pro, you doctor can get more information from the Smart Card than he could with the Plus.

Even if you can't get the software for a while, with the Pro the doctor can now read your card and get and (hopefully) give you information on events like the one you had last night and other data.

Glad to hear they gave you the Pro. As the others have said, it's fully data-capable and will tell you how your therapy is working. Don't feel disappointed at all.
