Think I found a solution

Post by Elbysmom2004 » Mon Jun 08, 2009 2:18 pm

So, I think I finally found a routine that will work for not only me but my children. I have taught my children how to turn on the CPAP if mommy "forgets". They love doing it. We start the night 30 min earlier than we were. They get to play in the tub for 20 min longer than what they used to. I let them play while I clean the bathroom and fold clothes (I bring the hamper into the bathroom with us). After that is done then I read them their book while they are in the tub. As soon as the book is done I wrap them both up in their towels and follow them to the bed as we turn off lights. I dry them and put on jammies. I get my mask ready and they get into bed. I turn off the lights and climb into bed with them. They take turns turning on my machine and we make up stories at night.

We take turn telling the story and each one has to add on to it until we are all asleep. It usually doesn't take long and we end up laughing so hard our tummies hurt.

This morning I woke up scared because I didn't even notice the mask or the air pressure at first. I ripped off the mask thinking that once again I didn't turn it on and when I ripped it off I heard the big rush of air. I knew it was on then.
Pressure set at 15
Ramp:20 min starts at 4.5.
