First night with a full face mask. Pleasantly surprised.

I've been using a swift LT since I started therapy a little over a month ago. Recently I purchased a Ultra Mirage FFM in order to have a second mask option. Last night I used it for the first time. I liked it! Which was a pleasant surprise because I see so many complaints about full face masks. But I found the Mirage to be quite comfortable.

Data for last night:

P...........7.2
L...........0.02
AHI........2.7
AI..........0.3
HI..........2.4

Data for the month

P...........8.0
L..........0.06
AHI........3.7
AI..........0.6
HI..........3.1

I assume my relatively low pressure settings make it easier to achieve a good seal. My min pressure is set to 6 and max to 20 and the daily pressure readout is usually between 7 and 9.

I'm not planning to replace my swift with the mirage, I just like having some choice and variety.

that's good to read!
i've been thinking about getting a FFM for an alternative, especially for the inevitable headcold when winter comes.
I also need to get a battery back up system too-- the power went out for 2 hours around bedtime a few nights ago, and reminded me how we were without power for 3 days when the remnants of Hurricane Ike blew through last year... don't want to risk that!
