Software advice

Post by sleepygma » Fri May 29, 2009 11:43 am

Sorry if this has already been addressed multiple times, but I wasn't very successful at doing a search....

I am a new C-PAPer and have a ResMed S8 Series II machine. Am interested in obtaining software to monitor my status and don't know where to start. What do I all need and where is the best place to obtain? Card Reader? separate software?
Do people find it useful and worth the cost?
(I have a Windows Vista computer--any compatibility issues?)

Any help or advice greatly appreciated !!

Mary

Have you tried cpap.com?? They are the forum sponsor, and are a good online vendor (I have purchased from them many times). They will have the reader, software, and additional memory cards (if needed). You will need the reader and software at a minimum and YES the ability to monitor your therapy is invaluable. The software will work on a Windows Vista system. I have mine running on 64 bit Vista, I just wish my Respironics Encore Viewer would as well. I have to run the Resp. Encore Viewer on my WinXP laptop. Good luck.
