Hello,
I have a Resperonics (auto) M series set at 8.5 -11, my mask is a Resmed Activa. The Encore Viewer says my leak rate is 34-37 but Resmed says it should be a high 20's leak rate.
Because The mask and the machine are different makers should I not be assuming that the software is correct when it comes to leaks accuracy? Is the software more accurate when the machine and mask are by the same manufactures?

HELP..Leak numbers
Re: HELP..Leak numbers
Google "ResMed activa leak rate".
The leak rate I found was: ACTIVA = 19.2 @ 4cm, 34.4 @ 12cm and 45.4 @ 20cm
Doesn't sound like the leak is much higher than the leak rate of the mask since you are running close to 12 cm.
Mix and match for machines and masks has no effect!

Re: HELP..Leak numbers
You can read on here how to post your leak line and the shape of the leak line is probably more important than the actual leak number. Here is one of mine: Data worse with APAP treatment after one week? viewtopic.php?f=1&t=29565&p=254533#p254533
