OT - I have a new grandchild and this 1 is different!

Post by dieselgal » Wed May 27, 2009 8:22 am

I have been a grandmother for many years now and my first granddaughter just graduated highschool, but on Saturday the 23rd my Son and daughter in law gave me my 6th grandchild and finally a grandson! This makes the 4th child them and I know my son is happy to have a son too.
Unfortunately we live in Texas and the live in Reno, NV so I am not sure when I am going to get there for a hands on visit. I have to plan a time for a driving trip because since we have 6 chihuahua's it is impossible for us to fly. That is a long drive but I am going to do it!

Congratulations, Dieselgal!! I sure hope you can work out making that trip in the near future. In the meantime, hopefully you're getting lots of pics from them. Best wishes to all!!

Congrats - isn't it such a delight to see a growing clan & each little person someone new to learn to know & love.

Grandkids are delightful & you are luck to have what you have (but it is nice to have children to hand them back to after a while)

Congratulations on your new grandson! Grandchildren are the best!!! And 6 chi chi's WOW !!! I am busy with 3 minischnauzers but 6 would only be for a very dedicated doggy person. I am sure they are very lucky little dogs to have you for their mom!!!

Congrats Diesalgal...Hope the new baby is doing well!! There is nothing in the world that I find better than being a gramma!! My grandbabies are my biggest joy!! And my shih tzu!! 6 chihuahua!!!!!?? I can't imagine having 6 shih tzus!! If that green VW in your avatar is your vehicle you will be driving to visit the new grandbaby, it's a good thing you have chihuahuas and not 6 boxers... or some other large dog
Anyway...hope you get to go soon to see the new grandbaby!!
