Poking an eye out / plugged nose

Post by frenchie » Tue May 19, 2009 11:34 am

I love my swift LT, atleast I have until the past week or so. For some reason I have been waking up more with my mask off. Well not really off, but the pillow will be off of my nose and the little arch shaped plastic from the strap (the little bump part the rests on your cheek)Has been poking me in the eye. If that isnt bad enough I have also been having water building up between the layers of the pillows and some times wake up not being able to breath. Its very strange because my nose is not plugged and if I remove the mask and put it back on everything is fine. Im not sure what the problem is. But its really annoying. I might have to get a strap to try to hold the mask im place, but have a really hard time with stuff around my neck or chin. Has anyone else had these issues? Any suggestions to alieve these issues? I really would like to be able to breath and not poke out an eye while Im sleeping!

When I put my Swift LT on, I pull my hair up as if I am going to put it in a pony tail. Then I pull the hair in between the two straps to be sure the bottom strap goes underneath my hair. It holds it in perfectly.

If you don't have hair long enough to do that, I'm not sure. Maybe someone else will have a suggestion.

Are you sure the straps are tight enough?

The only time I ever had water buildup on my nasal pillows was when I had my humidifer up too high. I turned it down one notch, and it was OK after that.

I haven't had the mask move that much, but that is the same place I have water condensing - between the layers like that. I too turn down the humidifier when that happens too much.

I forgot I have my hose routing down instead of over my head. It provides better stability for me.

pony tail secures rear strap from sliding around for me.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
