F&P machine - Error Codes

Post by SydCPAP » Thu May 14, 2009 4:38 pm

Has anyone got error code table for Fisher & Paykel machine? I have HC254 six months old and it gave me E49 last night and didn't want to start. I'll talk to supplier tonight.

Bump. I searched for F&P error codes but could not find anything on Google. The other night my Sleep Style 608 with 1400 hours gave me my first bit of trouble. The blower stopped, the LCD started flashing "ERR 1". I had to unplug the power cord before it would restart, holding the power button did nothing.

Hi, I am relatively new to CPAP (about a month), I am using the Fisher & Paykel HC 254 and have just started getting an E49 flashing on the display in the mornings when I turn off the pressure. It does not seem to be affecting the operation of the machine, but wondering if you found out what the error code was for or how to correct it.

Thanks,
James

According to F&P Rep they have said that error 49 or E49 is a faulty smart card port or an error has been made when the machine has been saving data onto the smart card with either a smart card missing or patient has removed the smart card while info was being saved. Hope this helps and puts a few minds at ease.

If you are having error problems with a new machine...take them back, they are on warranty.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
