OT Something occured to me today

Post by Driver59 » Sun Apr 19, 2009 8:22 pm

while I was reading through the topics on this forum. There are members here from all over the world and everyone just wants to help their fellow forum members. Maybe our world leaders need a place like this! Wouldn't it be great if the focus of their attention was preserving health and prolonging life? This planet is a world community, I think it's time the people that we have placed in positions of power began to act accordingly. Just my two cents worth and some wishful thinking. Sometimes this forum inspires me!

You know, I had the exact same thought the other day, Don. Any world leaders on here?

Ahhh, in a perfect world... too many interests vied for to expect that kind of community among world leaders - unless maybe they were guaranteed anonimity. My guess is it would be more flame wars than anything else. Pleasant thought though.

In such a forum the participants better have asbestos suits because the flames would be flying left, right and center.

truly appreciate your post.

I thinkthe most valuable communication skill is "listening". Here people listen!

Wish I could find the same quality in a "hearing" forum...for those who require hearing aids.

thanks,
