Don't use CPAP because of Reflux

When I had GERD, in addition to the prescription medications, I found Gaviscon liquid to help a lot. My GastroE recommended that and it seems to keep working when the patient is horizontal.

FL andy - Thanks for your comments. I have had several edoscopies, the most recent was in June. No Barrett's was found. I have a large Hiatal Hernia with major reflux. I take Prevacid twice a day, and have for several years. The drugs help a great deal, but occasionally they are not enough. I am hoping the CPAP will be beneficial to me for this condition as well!
