Software question

Post by Froro » Tue Apr 14, 2009 1:05 pm

Before I invest money into this software thing I have some questions.

I realize that I'm going to need the card, card reader + software. When stuff gets transferred to the smart card does it get wiped off the machine iteself (the hard drive thing)? Mine has no smart card in it so I'm assuming this.

Second question. Does anyone know where I can get this stuff more affordably? I looked at cpap.com but honestly...I don't really have the $300 to spend on all of this (plus exchange rate). Thus far I have yet to locate a source in Canada.

Any thoughts?

Copying data to the card does not effect the data stored on the machine. I bought my software and reader through CpapAustralia http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/shoppin ... ftware.htm You can order their software and card reader combo for 200.oo and about 35.00 shipping it takes about a week to receive and the dollars are Australia Dollars when I purchased mine it was $0.65 Us to the Australian Dollar. or about $150.00 US

I could use some info on less expensive places for the Resmed software also. Is the Australian / US exchange rate still favorable?

TIA

I am interested in finding a more affordable supplier of the software as well.
