Hmmmm......if the new hose is unused, still in its original package, I don't think I'd take them 3000 pennies.
I'd take them the hose, let them know it's a return, get a receipt confirming the fact that you returned the item, give them about a week, check with the insurance company to see if they have processed the credit, if not, call the DME and ask them about the insurance company credit and if they give you the run around, speak to that person who gave you the blow job, and let her know that by not processing the credit to the insurance company she's now done something illegal as well as immoral....
Put that in your pipe and smoke it bay-bay.........
(all of that said, they may have 30 days to do the processing, but I'd sure see to it that I let the insurance company know that the hose has been returned and they should be getting a return notification so they can get their $55 back!!!)
Just a thought, but I'd not accept the hose at that price!!!! (HAHAHAHA I'm such a devious SOB......then turn around, walk in the front door and pay them $15 cash and carry )
In my case, I have no co-pay, so I never see what the DME rips off the insurance company for.....I just get my stuff when I order it.......
cheers

PS -- I'm with dreamstalker......You have to assume that a congressman or Senator would give a damn before thinking it would make any kind of difference.......Ya really think so??? Not a chance!!!!!!!!!
Wars arise from a failure to understand one another's humanness. Instead of summit meetings, why not have families meet for a picnic and get to know each other while the children play together?
