Thanks, quilt. I don't have to use anything at my nostrils when wearing nasal pillows, but there are quite a few people using pillows interfaces who do -- Lansinoh, Ayr gel, KY jelly, castor bean oil, Neosporin...quite a few things.

By "baby department", do you mean the section of the pharmacy where they have baby meds, formula, disposable diapers, etc? Or is there some other (baby clothes, toys, etc.) baby dept.

I looked all over the pharmacy and couldn't find it (and, no, I wasn't about to ASK where the "nipple cream" is... )

Link. Up here (Canada) they keep it behind the counter so yeah..you have to ask for it by name. At least that has been my experience. I love that stuff, have used it since the kids were born even after nursing. I use it for minor scrapes and cuts, minor burns etc. It speeds up healing and reduces scarring too. Imagine my surprise to have yet another use for it.

We keep it here with the breast pumps/supplies, just out on the shelf. You'll likely find it in the 'baby' section with bottles etc;.

I picked some up at the Superstore last night and it was under the name PurLan in the Baby/Breastfeeding isle.

I was on my second night of trying the Swift LT and read on this forum (great forum by the way, getting some great advice) about using lanolin for my nares to help with sealing and sore prevention but did not know where in pharmacy it was. I asked the pharmacist where they keep the lanolin and she asked if it was for my wife and I replied "No, its for me...", a puzzled look came over her and she motions for me to go to the baby section look for it under the name PurLan. I finally located it and then broke out laughing to myself after I read the box for its use... I left still giggling to myself thinking of the pharmacist puzzled look and wondering what the heck was I going to use it for.
The time has come and lit, I am too tired to work yet too poor to quit...

I got a new tube of it last week and my pharacist looked at me funny followed by...."are you pregnant again???" with a kind of shocked looked on her face.

I said nope, need it for my cpap mask. She then peppered me with questions as she has many customers on cpap and they are always looking for stuff.

Amazon.com has lanolin available. I purchased pure liquid lanolin and it has improved the mask seal to my face. Some of the reviews are worth reading. One of the products appears to be a little lanolin mixed with petroleum jell. As always, buyer beware.

Took a run to Target today, they sell it for $8.34. It is in the baby department where they sell bottles, etc. Not in the pharmacy. Really has helped solve my air leaking, couldn't get a good seal if I moved problems with the Swift LT.
