NO VOICE!!

Post by Lisaintosa » Sat Mar 28, 2009 1:15 pm

Hello All!

Woke up this AM with little voice. I went to bed around 12:45am and was ok. Woke up at 4am to take my son to school for an AFJROTC drill compition in IL, was fine. Went back to bed when I got home and got up again at around 11am with very little voice. I sound like I'm a 2 pack a day smoker lol

I used my mask all the times I was sleeping. Has anyone ever had this problem if so what do I do?? I"m getting married in June and don't want to sound like this on my wedding day. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as when this happens.

I also use Adviar for my asthma. Don't know if it's a combo of them both or one or the other that is causing this.

Help!!

Lisa

Since you don't have your mask listed or mentioned, I'm going to take a guess that if it's a nasal mask, you may be mouth-leaking or mouth-breathing and it's drying out your throat.

I can't seem to find my mask listed. It is a full face but from what I can gather from looking at the ones listed mine does NOT have head gear. Meaning there is nothing on my forehead. The straps are black with one going over the top of my head and 2 from each side going above and below my cheeks. I have looked all over the thing and can't find any mfg info anywhere. I even tried googling it and found some close but none had a name lol

If anyone knows what I am talking about and can send a pic, please do so, I would soooo appreciate it!

Well, that helps....... But, one can still get dry mouth/throat if they mouth-breathe with a full face mask.
Has it happened more times than that one you started this thread with?
