Day 4.....Feeling Fantastic !

Post by rim » Sat Apr 04, 2009 12:46 pm

Only my 4th day and I feel great! I haven't felt this good since I was a teenager.
My AHI is down to 11 which may not sound that great, but I started out with an
AHI of 135. If it doesn't get better than this I'll still be happy.

GO you! I remember the early days. I had the same experience! Wait until you relate to the way you are feeling now as "normal" - that will be another huge milestone.

Glad to hear you are doing well. I had similar results when starting - it took around 3-4 days to feel unbelievably better (after 15 yrs of misdiagnosis).

Congratulations! That is wonderful after only 4 days. You are definitely very proud of yourself, as you should be.

One caveat for the others reading this forum: this is not always true for all of us. Some have a much slower improvement rate, such as...ME!

Either way, we are all getting better and we all will settle for better over stasis, won't we?

I remember it took me a few weeks to start feeling really good. Your going to have good and bad.

That is wonderful! I am so glad you are feeling so much better.

I had a great first week, then the 2nd week not so good. But with some great suggestions from this group, my last few days have been alot better.

Keep coming back to this forum. You'll never meet a better or more helpful, encouraging group of hoseheads!

That is a great start. Sure hope you keep feeling that way.

Do be prepared for dips along the way as they are bound to happen, but can be handled.

I'm very happy to be where I'm at right now, but am expecting all the ups and downs. Having diabetes as
well I'm very familiar with health issues in constant flux. Thanks to everyone on this forum and their
experiences and knowledge, I feel confident the future will be bright !

I had a similiar response to CPAP and I know how you feel. It is like night and day. My sleep doctor told me that basically males have a physilogical response upon entering REM stage that is true for all men, so men have a built-in sleep monitor. Hopefully spring has returned for you also.
